Jay’s personal training career began in Vail 15 years ago at the Homestead Court Club. Two years later, he moved to New York to be part of the New York Sports Club management team during their largest growth period. It was there that Jay began his studies in exercise physiology and found his calling in being the orchestrator of major life changes in his clients. From there, he became fitness manager in Baltimore at Brick Bodies Health Club, where he worked extensively with Bill Pearl who was the world’s strongest man in 1978. While in Baltimore, Jay took his education to the next level by attending multiple fitness conventions. In 2008 Jay moved to Bluffton, South Carolina where he began his work in the live-in fitness industry. Since then he has focused his career specifically on helping his clients lose weight and/or meet their individual fitness goals in a fitness retreat setting. Jay loves establishing long-term, meaningful relationships with everyone he trains and is passionate about helping people be the best version of themselves. Jay loves the mountain and outdoor recreation and is excited to move back to Vail in July 2014 with his wife and two young children to be Peak’s programming director!
